About the Artist
Marlise Meilan has completed over six years of training in painting,
drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture and multi-media
art/performance at Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design (Vancouver,
Canada), Chelsea College (London, UK) and Ottawa School of Art
(Canada). She has been exhibiting regularly since 1996. In addition
to her art career, Marlise teaches yoga, creates assemblage jewellery
and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Contemplative
Psychotherapy at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
